{"id":5896,"date":"2018-08-21T20:59:09","date_gmt":"2018-08-21T20:59:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/heidysandovalruiz.com\/?p=5896"},"modified":"2018-08-21T21:12:47","modified_gmt":"2018-08-21T21:12:47","slug":"la-up-arriba-a-sus-96-anos-de-fundacion","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/heidysandovalruiz.com\/?p=5896","title":{"rendered":"La UP arriba a sus 96 a\u00f1os de fundaci\u00f3n"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><strong>Por Heidy Sandoval Ruiz<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><strong>Fotograf\u00eda Roy El\u00edas<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">Este lunes en el Marco del Aniversario 96 del teatro de la Universidad Popular de Guatemala -UP-, se llev\u00f3 a cabo el homenaje e imposici\u00f3n de medallas a artistas destacados y deportistas que por su trayectoria, se hicieron merecedores a cada una de ellas.\u00a0 Los asistentes al evento aplaudieron a cada uno de los homenajeados que agradecieron el reconocimiento y las muestras de cari\u00f1o.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">En baloncesto se entreg\u00f3 la Medalla \u00ab<strong>Arnoldo Johnston<\/strong>\u00bb a: Enrique Samayoa, Carlos Vallejo y Reynaldo Liques (QPD).<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">En Artes Esc\u00e9nicas la Medalla \u00bb <strong>Rub\u00e9n Morales Monroy<\/strong>\u00bb se le otorg\u00f3 a tres grandes exponentes de nuestro teatro: Carlos Izquierdo, Zoila Portillo Y Rolando C\u00e1ceres.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">La medalla \u00ab<strong>Rodolfo Galeotti Torres<\/strong>\u00bb a los artistas pl\u00e1sticos: Jos\u00e9 Lu\u00eds Carrillo, Mario M\u00e9ndez Estrada Y Rudy Cotton.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">El evento fue conducido por el Licenciado Wilfredo Gonz\u00e1les (pal\u00edn) y organizado por el consejo del teatro presidido por la Licda. Estefani Cristales.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">Al finalizar los actos se invit\u00f3 a la concurrencia a un cocktail y banquete por Estudiantes Del Diplomado en Gastronom\u00eda de La U.P. dirigidos por el Chef: Wilson Guzman.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">Al fundar la UP la idea fue concebida para promover el desarrollo nacional a trav\u00e9s de la capacitaci\u00f3n de los guatemaltecos.\u00a0\u00a0Si no conoce las instalaciones de esta universidad, les comentamos que en el centro posee un gimnasio de baloncesto techado llamado Roberto Palomo Castellanos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">La \u00abSala Manuel Galich\u00bb, fue fundada en 1962 y se le debe al dramaturgo guatemalteco Rub\u00e9n Morales Monroy y tiene una capacidad para 300 personas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;
